It was so great to meet Bruno this afternoon. A great player and true sportsman. I really look forward to playing with him again and often. Think spring.

Bruno, thanks again for your work in developing TennisMetro. It is a great resource and I hope it becomes the backbone of the twin cities social tennis scene.

I want some nice weather so I can actually get the chance to try to beat my bro.

In case you missed my blog post, St. Paul and Minneapolis have been merged into 'Twin Cities'. This makes more sense than having players in each city separated (thanks for the idea, Grisha!).

Ok when the weather gets better then this ladder will be way more fun

Sorry for missing your challenges Grisha and bvandyke!  The busy-ness has been taking over.  It would be fun to play sometime - hopefully once a) I get out of my super busy month; and b) it gets nicer outside.

Until then I'll have to be content saving my undefeated record with the excuse of being too busy to play ;)

i agree 1 the weather suks and 2  the weather sucks. hey, its minnesota

Hey guys, thanks for playing ;)

Stay tuned for more ladder updates later this spring.

Leap-Frog Rules

  1. You're placed at the bottom of the rankings when you join.
  2. You may challenge anyone in the ladder.
  3. If you challenge and defeat a higher-ranked player, you take their spot.
  4. If you are inactive for two weeks, you'll be dropped one spot.
  5. If you decline a challenge, you'll be dropped one spot.
  6. Challenges expire after 10 days. This auto-declines the challenge, and drops the challenged player one spot.
  7. No ranking change occurs if a challenge withdrawn by the challenger.
  8. No ranking change occurs if the higher-ranked player wins.

Notes

  • Both players must make a reasonable effort to schedule and play a match within 10 days.

  • The challenger must be willing to play at the opponent's courts, in or near Twin Cities.

  • If a good-faith effort is made, but a match can't be scheduled, the challenger should withdraw the challenge to avoid dropping the opponent's ranking.
