One of the main reasons, I wasn't writing as much in the past few months; was because I was out on the court playing. This year is the first that I joined an adult mixed doubles league. It was very competitive and fun to play. We were undefeated all season; but lost in the sectionals. Each time I play I want to get myself stronger for the next round.
What's the next round?
Women's season. Although not as fast as the mixed doubles; there are still plenty of challenges. I am playing women's doubles this season with my fabulous partner Savery. Although I love being a singles player, I thought it would be fun to mix it up a bit and hopefully with both of our strong suits we can dominate Women's 4.0 in Los Angeles. I'm tired of being a 4.0 and would like to bumped up already.

Needless to say, we dominated our first competitive match together. Okay, dominated is very strong; actually we won on two set tiebreakers 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (9-7); but there was no doubt in our minds.
After every match (win or lose) its always good to take a good assesment of your game performace. I'm always in a fight to make myself a better tennis player; how else am I gonna climb the ranks?
Game Summary!
Things I did well - Serving, communication, overheads, drop shots
Things I need to work on - Strategy, volleys, down the line balls, moving bending and losing weight.
Wish us luck on our next match!
